Mom, you came to the right place.
The old phrase “it takes a village to raise a child” couldn’t be more true, yet for many, the village isn’t there anymore.
We’re here to be your village.

How MomSense Began
Being a mom today is hard. There hasn't been a time like this in history where we are always connected and yet somehow disconnected. There is confusing and contradicting information on the internet and at some point, you start to question your own instincts….That’s why we started MomSense.
We were struggling to find our footing in parenting. Through reading, experimentation, and real-life trial and error, we set out on a mission to help you, and all mothers, make sense of motherhood.
Don't worry, we do have some other qualifications as well- check out our bios to read more about our clinical backgrounds and certifications, including nursing, women’s health, perinatal mental health, and lactation. If you’re facing a new breastfeeding journey, preparing for parenthood, going back to work, or trying to parent in a chaotic world, we’ve got you. MomSense can help you cut out the noise and get back to what’s most important: the connection you have with yourself, your children, and others.
Upcoming Events
MomSense offers events to empower you in several areas of parenting. Our philosophy is mom-centric meaning we believe a more calm, present, and informed mom sets the tone for the family. It’s hard to be calm, present and informed these days, so we get you there.
We’ll give you tips, tricks, and some evidence-based ways to work through the next parenting challenge, and our events will give you a sounding board and be a safe place to work through the hard stuff.
Speaking Engagements
Kathryn and Meghan are the hit of your next conference! We engaging speakers that can assist with connection and for moms in all walks of life.

What our moms say
Meet the moms behind MomSense.
Hi! We’re Meghan and Kathryn, the co-founders of MomSense. Meghan is a mother of 2, and a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s health. Kathryn is a mother of 2 and a Registered Nurse. We’re both certified in Perinatal Mental Health and Meghan is a lactation counselor. Despite the access that our professions gave us to information, we still felt alone and lost in the noise of early motherhood.
We want better for you.
From traumatic births, NICU stays, and being working moms, we have been through a lot together and would be honored to work with you through your motherhood journey.
